Friday perch dinner. Not too busy on a Friday night. Construction out front might have an impact. The Dome is still open so don't let the construction stop you. Good food, good service.
The staff were all very friendly and the food was great! Prices can't be beat and portion sizes are perfect. Their drink specials are also awesome, and I enjoy the fun and welcoming atmosphere.
First time visitor, introduction was warm, the honey garlic sauce is amazing, wishlist it on a burger I'm coming back forsure, must recommend to others.
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception on 05-11-24! Andy & the staff were all so helpful & polite! Thank you all for having us as your first wedding couple of the 2024 season!
Dean, the owner, and Renee, his wife, are a local staple of Neenah. They serve good food they have a lot of excitement in the bar, plenty of TVs to watch any of your favorite sports games. Andy, the bar manager, is awesome. All the bartenders definitely make you feel welcome. Definitely go down and try the food and drinks, and everything's always great there. They have an excellent Friday fish fry with many options to choose from.
We wanted to try someplace new for a Friday night fish fry, and happened to drive by this restaurant (we live in Oshkosh) saw their huge sign with their weekly specials and decided to stop. We thought we saw double bubble Mon-Fri on the sign, but found out it was Mon-Thur! Lol. I’ll come back to the drinks in a second! There are 2 doors to choose from to enter, one for the bar area, or one for the dining room. We entered the dining room to find out it’s one big hall (my husband said it reminded him of a VFW Hall) with lots of 4 top tables spread out and some large screen sports TVs on the wall. We were immediately seated, but felt a little out of place because the other patrons were a bit older than us, we might have been the youngest there and we are early 50’s. Looking over the menu, they had a great variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and dinners to choose from, and the prices...omg..the prices are AMAZINGLY CHEAP!!! It’s like looking at a menu from 5 years ago! Absolutely LOVE the prices!! Our first waitress was awesome, we asked about double bubble, but found out it’s only Mon-Thurs, she then mentioned Old Fashioneds are cheaper in the Bar area if we wanted to eat over there, plus they have music and sports TVs playing, more our style. We seated ourselves at a high top table next to a window, and we were greeted right away by our second waitress, who was also phenomenal! She informed us they make great old fashioneds and all drinks come in a highball glass, so it’s actually a double drink! YESSS!!! Our drinks were made to perfection! My husband ordered the Seafood Platter and I ordered the Perch Platter both with tots, it also comes with buttered half of rye bread and a condiment cup of coleslaw that rivals KFC! When we received our plates, we were immediately shocked with how delicious the fish looked! The perch was beautiful with the perfect amount of golden breading, deep fried to perfection! I kept gazing at the piece of walleye my husband had on his plate, because it actually glistened in its own juice of seasoning and breading! I took a fork full of his walleye, and it was perfectly flaky and delicious! If you have ever eaten at The Bowl in Sister Bay, Door County, you will find that both places are like twins in how they batter and fry their fish! Simply melt in your mouth amazing! The Dome definitely has the better cocktails for sure! We couldn’t eat all our fish and ended up taking leftovers home. We got our bill and my husband was still in shock on how cheap it was for the two of us! If you are looking for a new Friday night fish fry, this is the place to try! Get there early though because they fill up fast! We definitely found our new Friday night fish fry here! Can’t wait for next week Friday! P.S. They also serve a 4 pc. Chicken dinner that we need to try, but it’s not served on Fridays!
Old school bar and restaurant that does fantastic for fish fries on Friday based on my experience. The dining room in the back is old-school/dated, and the tables/chairs could use some significant updates as well.
We were looking for a different Friday fish spot and my friend recommended it. Tons of cars outside, and difficult to find parking. Walked inside, and there were open tables in the bar area, so we immediately sat down. Within minutes they were taking our drink order. Prices and portions are great. I got the seafood platter as I wasn't sure what their fish tasted like. I think I liked the perch the best. None of what I had was bad. Drinks were in pint glasses. We ordered old fashions with maker's mark, 6.50 each. Coleslaw, potato salad, onion rings are all good sides. Only complaints would be the parking and the volume of the college basketball game. I know we were in the bar, so that was to be expected. I definitely recommend this place.
